We collect only what is necessary to operate the service. Specifically: your email address (used for authentication and account management), signal logs (timestamp, symbol, action, quantity, status, and cost in USD for every webhook signal you send), and your account balance in USD.

Your email is used solely for magic-link authentication and to contact you about your account (e.g. beta updates, billing issues). Signal logs are stored so you have a full audit trail of your trading activity and so we can calculate and verify billing. Your balance is tracked to enable the prepaid credit system. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not build profiles or infer anything beyond what is strictly necessary for billing and authentication. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking scripts on the dashboard.

We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required by applicable law (e.g. in response to a valid legal request). We use a third-party card payment processor to handle balance top-ups. This processor receives your payment method details but not your trading data or brokerage credentials. For IBKR users, signal routing goes through a VoltRouter-hosted IB Gateway container. Your IBKR credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and are never shared with third parties.

Account data (email, balance, signal history) is retained while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Signal logs may be retained in anonymised form for aggregate statistics. To request deletion, contact us at hello@voltrouter.com.

We store passwords using magic-link authentication only — no passwords are stored. API keys function as bearer tokens and are stored for service operation. They are rotatable from your dashboard at any time. Data is stored on our server infrastructure. We take reasonable technical precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@voltrouter.com. We will respond within 30 days. As VoltRouter is operated from Germany, EU/GDPR data subject rights apply.
